Breakthrough Party launches biggest Weekend of Action yet

With the UK potentially only 18 months away from its next General Election, work is accelerating to get the Breakthrough Party known in communities up and down the country.

Breakthrough is mobilising its members to kick off its largest Weekend of Action ever in England, Scotland and Wales – from Hastings to Hull, Berwick-upon-Tweed to Basildon and everywhere else in-between.

The Weekend of Action, which is taking place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June, will see Breakthrough organise leafleting and door-knocking sessions at 31 locations across the UK. You can find out more information about where here.

Party Leader, Alex Mays said: “We are living in an era of crisis: climate change, the cost of living and the erosion of our democracy. We urgently need an answer.

But, while the Conservatives fuel these crises and scapegoat poor people, asylum seekers and the trans community – the Labour Party is failing to provide an alternative.

We want to be that alternative. We want to be embedded in communities, listening to local people, empowering them and helping them to deliver the change they want to see.”
