Breakthrough Party Set To Launch Weekend Of Action Across England

While this Conservative government continues to heap more misery and chaos onto the British people with little opposition, the Breakthrough Party is fighting back.

Breakthrough is mobilising members across the country to kick off its work in communities from Plymouth to Newcastle and everywhere else in-between.

The Weekend of Action, which is taking place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November, will see Breakthrough organise street stalls and leafleting sessions at 16 locations in England.

The locations include: London (Camberwell, Camden and Tottenham), Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Exeter, Plymouth, Reading, Colchester, Bury, Ashfield and Wellingborough.

Party Leader, Alex Mays said: “Our country right now is lurching from crisis to crisis, whether it’s the cost of living, climate change or our NHS.

Our living standards are under attack from the Tories – and Labour is failing to offer a real alternative. It just can’t go on like this. We need to fight back.”

The Weekend of Action is the start of a wider strategy which will see Breakthrough building from the grassroots, informing its future campaigns and policy.

Alex added: “As a Party we want to be embedded in communities, listening to local people and building trust, we don’t want to be just another political party that turns up a few weeks before an election, promises the world, fails to deliver and then disappears again.

We want to empower people and help them to deliver the real change they want to see.

The Weekend of Action will be the first step towards making this happen.”
